The young people came with open hearts to receive all that the Lord had to offer them during this time of retreat and to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus. They participated well during the time of praise and worship and group discussions. The were also attentive to the teachings and reverent during the time of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. These young people also had the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
At dinner time, in the presence of their families the young people shared testimonies of how the Lord had blessed them during the retreat. The Lord healed their broken hearts, reconciled relationships with parents and equipped them with the gifts of the Holy Spirit to grow in their faith
This joyful group of young people, left the retreat excited and bonded as a family to encourage and support each other as they follow the Lord. Some young women and men expressed that they felt the Lord calling them to the religious life and to the priesthood.
Let us join in prayer for our youth who are truly the hope for our Church. God is doing something powerful among them.
