Sister Damiana and Sister Kateri
Sister Damiana and Sister Kateri returned to our Mission House in Mexico. They departed on Thursday, January 31, to make the two-day trip to Monterrey, arriving there in the afternoon of February 1.
The house has at present three Sisters: Sister Damiana, who has been re-appointed to lead the Mission House for this year, Sister Kateri who will continue to assist with the work of that house and her study of the Spanish language, and Sister Mariana, who is having the experience of living in a Mission House as part of her formation -- she is in temporary vows. Sister Mariana had gone to Mexico in advance to visit with her family before joining the Mission House team.
Please, keep our Sisters in your prayers as they continue to lead their contemplative lives as consecrated women in the Church, as well as their work of evangelization among the people in Monterrey, Mexico.
A special intention for this year is that the Sisters may find a house more conducive to our contemplative way of life.
